    Tensor Technology, Inc. was formed in 1992 and has since been pioneering the development of material-specific explosives and contraband detection systems. Our system utilizes a technology we call PFNTS, Pulsed Fast Neutron Transmission Spectroscopy. PFNTS is a technique by where a broad energy range of neutrons are transmitted through a sealed container. The neutrons are detected on the other side of the container. As each element preferentially scatters neutrons of different energies, we can accurately tell what elements are located inside the sealed container and where these elements are. Knowing the ratios of the elements in a volume of the container gives us an accurate picture of the contents. We employ artificial intelligence (AI) to learn what the signature of a container with and without explosives looks like and then use that AI to recognize containers that contain explosives. Our system is the only system in the world that is element specific, and the only system that can operate without human intervention.
